Estate:

11 generations of family tradition and experience in grape growing and wine making. Export to more than 60 countries around the world.

Appelation:

Rheinhessen / Germany.

Grape: 

Riesling - best and most versatile white wine grape in the world.

Terroir: 

Loam and clay. Vineyards on  top of the hills. Heavy soil with excellent absorptive capacity for rain water. Hilly vineyard area, mostly loam soil.

Quality: 

Qualitätswein b.A. - quality wine of a designated area.

 Taste:

Dry Riesling. Delicate fragrance of white peaches, apricot and juicy pears. The classical Riesling in expression and elegance.

 Analysis:

12 % Alc., 4 g/l residual sweetness, 6,5 g/l fruit acidity

 Viticulture:

Natural cultivation; limited yields through reduced pruning; limited use of fertilizers and chemicals.

 Vinification:

Gentle pressing, natural sedimentation, temperature controlled fermentation at 15° C in stainless steel, one filtration only, ageing in stainless steel.

 Recommendation:

Aperitif, all kind of seafood in different styles of preparation, veal, salads (please no vinegar dressing).

 Temperature:

8° - 10° Celsius
